SAND MOUND

Sand mound systems are an option in areas of shallow soil depth, high groundwater, or shallow bedrock. The constructed sand mound contains a drain field trench. Effluent (wastewater) from the septic tank flows to a pump chamber where it is pumped to the mound in set doses.

Gravity

As wastewater enters the septic tank in a gravity septic system, it pushes wastewater out the other end to the drain field through a network of pipes. This is called “gravity flow” to the drain field, and these systems don’t need a pump. The most important part of a gravity septic system is the septic tank because a good-quality tank can remove two-thirds or more of wastewater contaminants.

OUR SEPTIC INSPECTION PROVIDE

Flow Verification

During our septic inspection services, we perform flow verification to ensure that all wastewater correctly and efficiently flows from your property into the septic tank and subsequently to the drain field, preventing any potential blockages or backflow issues. This thorough examination helps maintain system integrity and prevents future complications.

Baffle and Tee Inspection

Our baffle and tee repair service carefully checks these important parts to make sure they are free of damage and blockages that could stop the system from working. This thorough check helps keep your septic system in good shape and working well, preventing expensive fixes.

Tank Integrity Check

Part of our septic inspection services, our Tank Integrity Check includes a careful assessment of your septic tank for any indications of structural flaws, such leaks or cracks. This guarantees the tank’s longevity and operation and shields the environment from expensive repairs and contamination.

Drain Field Inspection

Our septic drain field inspection service carefully checks the field for saturation, obstructions, or inefficiencies to make sure it is absorbing and filtering waste water as it should. By using sophisticated diagnostic methods, we protect the health of the system and extend its useful life.

Sludge Level Measurement

As part of our septic inspection services, we offer exact sludge level measurement using specialist equipment to ascertain the depth and buildup of sludge in your tank. This important evaluation enables us to suggest the best pumping time, guaranteeing effective operation of your system and avoiding possible backups or overflows.

System Examination

We carefully evaluate the tank, pipes, drain field, and other mechanical components including pumps and alarms during our System Component Examination for septic inspections. This extensive assessment guarantees proper operation of all components and facilitates early identification of possible problems, therefore preserving the effectiveness and lifespan of the system.

Yes, obtaining a septic inspection is crucial when buying a house to ensure the septic system is functioning properly and to avoid future costly repairs.

Inspecting a septic system involves assessing the tank and drain field for signs of blockage or leaks, and ensuring the system operates effectively through visual and physical checks. Regular maintenance, including pumping and inspecting the tank’s sludge levels, is crucial for longevity.

While homeowners can perform basic checks, a professional inspection is recommended for a thorough and accurate assessment. Professionals have the expertise and tools to identify issues that may not be visible to the untrained eye.

Common issues include cracks in the tank, tree root intrusion, clogs or blockages in the pipes, and drain field failures. Inspectors may also find signs of system overload, such as excess water usage or improper waste disposal.
